New Navigation and Discovery for Solitaire Games

By Neal Taparia - 05/24/2023

Did you know on Solitaired, you can play over 500 different solitaire games? Chances are you didn't know this. While we make our most popular games accessible through the navigation, the rest of our games have been tucked under an all games menu with no organization outside of being alphabetized.

When our users discover our other games, they always tell us how much they love them. This got us thinking: how can we make our games more discoverable?

Now when you go to our all games menu, you'll see that we categorize our games by games type. This includes, among others:

There are over 18 categories of games you can choose from. When you click within each category, you can find more games. If you like Pyramid Solitaire, for example, you'll find that TriPeaks Solitaire or King Tut could be fun games for you to try. Moreover, each game has a description to give you a sense of what the game is about. Within each game, we have a rules button for you to learn how to play the game.

In addition to our new discovery layout for all our games, we've also made similar games more discoverable. On FreeCell, for example, you'll see options for related games like Eight Off and Baker's Game. For Yukon, you'll see options for Russian and Alaska Solitaire. There is also a "More" button for even more games to check out!

We hope you enjoy trying new solitaire games. Let us know what you think.
